Planning – Application Comments

I note the comment about cars on the road. We have picked this property on the basis that it has ample parking in front of the house to accommodate anybody who is staying with us. No cars will be parking on the street. We have also consulted with Norfolk Highways and will make the recommended changes to the entrance to ensure that their is good visibility for cars coming and going from the property.

If any of our new neighbours have any worries please do drop a note through our letterbox and we would be happy to offer reassurance. We are locals ourselves and do understand the concerns about properties changing hands.

My mother who is 95 lives next door and parking is often a problem and she cannot get out of her drive, without the extra cars that will be generated with a b & b business. The access as it stands is difficult and dangerous so we see this as a major issue, but worse than that there is every chance that some people will park on the road which will make getting out of both properties even more dangerous.
Also with all the extra accommodation of B & B establishments in the area, eg The Deli, The Orange Tree and The Chequers, The Lifeboat, further b & b are not needed.
I hope this application is refused.
