Dear Sirs
I strongly object to the following proposed car shed development.
I have no negative observations regarding the location but object to the height of the roof. This is detrimental to our property and that of our neighbours. The elevations would dramatically reduce the amount of natural light into our rear garden. This would be especially noticeable between the months of early October to late March. The height from the eaves to the ridge could be easily reduced to an acceptable angle for the roof pitch. Also as noted in the planning application "site levels remain as existing". The original garage had a slightly angled roof which was not overbearing and overshadowing our property. This application does completely the opposite.

We are concerned by the height of the proposed new cart lodge, it backs on to the gardens of 6,8 & 10 Old Hunstanton Road. Our gardens and ground floors are substantially lower, so the proposed development will be imposing and will curtail our light quite significantly.

Firstly this plan is not a replacement for the previous shed, we have pictures of the previous shed and this is not a like for like replacement it is a much larger building.
The pitch of the new roof has been rotated by 90 degrees from the original and therefore will overshadow our garden considerably more because it is so much taller than the original and because the pitch has changed.
As our garden and ground floor level of our house are 1 metre below the ground level of the proposed building this will over shadow our garden by 6 metres high.
We are objecting because of loss of light and overshadowing. If you would like us to send the photos of the original garage/shed to illustrate the height difference please let us know.
