As far as I am aware there is a ban on building in the village. If this is not the case then I and many other people locally will also be submitting applications for infill buildings.
I have lived next door to this site for 17 years and I am not aware of any structure that could be deemed as a dwelling ever having been there. There is no electricity, water supply or drainage serving the property so how could there have been a dwelling.
I believe this is as an attempt to flout planning policy for profit by submitting planning with shaky supporting evidence as to a reason the building is needed. Similar to the building currently being built nearby in Ryston Rd.
