I wish to object to this application due to traffic implications at the busy nearby traffic lights and junction .
I also OBJECT on the grounds of litter, light and noise pollution, and the fact this modern restaurant would be totally out of character with its surrounding buildings.
Also there is a supposedly "highly protected" Norfolk Chalk stream flowing through the site which this monstrosatity will adversely affect.

I strongly object to the proposed Macdonald's 'Restaurant' and all the noise, light pollution, possible destruction of our chalk stream and increase in traffic associated with the above proposed fast food outlet.
Additionally the neon lights on the proposed totem pole sign alongside numerous other signage and lighting installations will undoubtedly be a distraction to motorists at the extremely busy crossroads.
There appears to be NO thought or consideration for the wildlife in and around this area, nor the local dark sky policy.
I cannot think of a single good reason to allow this to proceed - it will undoubtedly change the character of our village and bring with it a huge blot on our beautiful landscape.

I object to this proposal along with the other separate applications for the following reasons:
Ref. Policy 5 of Heacham Local Plan -Not in keeping with character of local heritage area
Ref. Policy 13 of Heacham Local Plan - Not in keeping with local dark skies policy
Ref. National Planning guidance - unwelcome driver distraction at a busy signal-controlled junction, cumulative effect from several other signs from the same proposed site.

I strongly object to the idea of a permanently illuminated 8M high pole advertising Macdonalds (if their application for a takeaway occurs).
Road Safety - very distracting for drivers at this very busy junction with traffic lights. The pole would be visible well above the height of the permitted traffic lights and other road signage.
Neighbourhood Plan - our Heacham Plan makes it very clear that the villagers do not want intrusive street furniture, particularly on the edge of the Heritage area.
Borough Local Plan - also as above.
Light pollution - all the houses, care home, nearby would be permanently affected by light pollution from such a pole.

Absolutely abhorrent that our coastal village should be scarred with such a monstrosity. And if it's not bad enough that it's deemed necessary to be so tall, it's illuminated for heavens sake!

The McDonald's signage should have been incorporated in their original application, not drip-fed to avoid objections. Light pollution would be intense

As I object to the unsafe and inappropriate location for the proposed McDonalds restaurant I object to any signage and illumination in this area as it is not in keeping with a quiet rural village and will overshadow the historic, welcoming approach to our village and is definitely not in keeping with the surrounding landscape.

I object to this application. The totem signage will dwarf our Heacham village sign. This is not a suitable location.

We have our local village sign welcoming people to Heacham.
The 26 foot McDonalds sign proposed dwarfs both the Heacham village sign and the signage related to Caley Mill and 'Norfolk Lavender'.
This would be of detriment to the character of the village and it's identity ands as such should be refused.
